Key Responsibilities
Program Design
- Lead project situation analysis and assessments.
- Review project logframes and results frameworks.
- Develop and implement project MEAL plans.
- Ensure all assigned projects have functional MEAL systems.
Baseline, Evaluation and Research
- Prepare Terms of Reference (ToR) for baseline, mid-term, and final evaluations.
- Design survey methodologies and sampling frameworks.
- Support annual indicator surveys and operational research activities.
- Provide technical guidance throughout evaluation processes.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Conduct regular project monitoring visits.
- Develop and update monitoring tools and quality benchmarks.
- Support project teams with reporting and documentation.
- Collect case studies, success stories, and lessons learned.
- Track implementation of monitoring recommendations.
Data and Information Management
- Manage project databases and monitoring information systems.
- Ensure timely data entry, verification, and quality assurance.

- Support PRIME, SWC, and organizational reporting systems.
Accountability
- Strengthen project accountability mechanisms.

Evaluation and Learning
- Coordinate project evaluations.
- Analyze outcome-level indicators.

- Disseminate evaluation findings to stakeholders.
Coordination and Capacity Building
- Lead MEAL implementation for Save the Children Norway-funded projects.
- Coordinate with MEAL teams and partner organizations.
- Build the capacity of partner NGO MEAL staff.
- Represent Save the Children in technical meetings and forums.
- Provide MEAL support during humanitarian emergencies.
Required Qualifications
Education
Candidates must possess one of the following:
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Statistics, Development Studies, or a related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience (2 years for GSI candidates).
OR
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with at least 5 years of relevant experience (3 years for GSI candidates).
