Job Overview
Youth Acting for Change Nepal (YAC Nepal) is inviting applications from qualified and motivated candidates for the position of Admin and Logistic Assistant under the Nurture Every Future: Poshan Nepal Project. The selected candidate will provide administrative and logistical support to ensure the smooth implementation of project activities, including procurement, office management, travel arrangements, event coordination, and asset management. About Youth Acting for Change Nepal (YAC Nepal)
Youth Acting for Change Nepal (YAC Nepal) is a non-political and non-profit social development organization established in 2000 AD by a group of committed young professionals dedicated to promoting sustainable development and social transformation in Nepal. Officially registered with the District Administration Office, Kailali, and affiliated with the Social Welfare Council, the organization has been working across Sudurpaschim Province since 2004.
YAC Nepal focuses on improving the livelihoods of poor, vulnerable, and socially excluded communities through community-led development initiatives. Its major areas of work include food security, governance, social justice, nutrition, gender equality, human rights, climate resilience, and sustainable livelihoods. By working closely with local governments, development partners, and communities, YAC Nepal promotes inclusive development and empowers local people to become active participants in creating lasting social change.
Currently, YAC Nepal is implementing the Nurture Every Future: Poshan Nepal Project in partnership with CARE Nepal and iDE Nepal across five municipalities of Kailali district. The project aims to improve nutrition, health, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), food systems, and gender equality through integrated community-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities
The Admin and Logistic Assistant will be responsible for:
- Supporting office administration and maintaining organized filing and record management systems.
- Managing procurement processes, vendor coordination, and quotation collection.
- Handling inventory control, asset management, and office supply tracking.
- Coordinating travel arrangements, vehicle management, accommodation bookings, and logistics.
- Organizing workshops, meetings, training sessions, and conferences.
- Maintaining procurement and financial documentation according to organizational policies.
- Coordinating with suppliers, government offices, project staff, and stakeholders.
- Preparing administrative reports and supporting daily office operations.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
- Intermediate (+2) in Management with Finance or Account as a major subject and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or
- Bachelor's degree in Management (preferred).
Experience
Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following:
- NGO, INGO, government projects, or private organizations.
- Office administration and document management.
