Job Summary

The Project Facilitator will support programs focused on:

• Rights and inclusion of persons with disabilities
• Support for individuals affected by leprosy
• Community empowerment and coordination

The role involves working closely with:

• Municipality-level committees
• Self-Help Groups (SHGs)
• Disabled Persons Organizations (DPOs)

This is a field-based role requiring strong community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Support formation of Disability Coordination Committees
• Strengthen Self-Help Groups and Disabled Persons Organizations
• Conduct training and awareness programs
• Work with health workers and community volunteers
• Ensure smooth implementation of project activities
• Support project officers in coordination and reporting

Required Qualifications

Education:

• Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) in Social Science
  👉 OR
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year experience in NGO/INGO sector
• Clinical or health-related experience (preferred)

Required Skills

• Strong facilitation and training skills
• Knowledge of disability and inclusion (preferred)
• Good reporting and planning ability
• Fluency in Nepali and Abadhi language
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Teamwork and community engagement ability
