About the Organization

Dignity Initiative is a research and advocacy organization based in Kathmandu. It focuses on:

In partnership with Fastenaktion, DI is implementing the SEED Project, which aims to:

  • Mudkechula Rural Municipality


1. Agro-Ecology Officer (Dolpa)

Job Details

  • Location: Dolpa
  • Level: Mid-Level
  • Start Date: April 1, 2026
  • Contract: 9 months (extendable)


Key Responsibilities

  • Support agroecological activities like:
    • Kitchen gardening
    • Nursery management
    • Fruit and fodder promotion
  • Provide technical support to field teams
  • Conduct community-level programs and meetings
  • Promote sustainable farming and local economic systems
  • Coordinate with local governments and stakeholders
  • Conduct regular field visits for monitoring and mentoring
  • Document case studies and project outcomes


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture (B.Sc. Agriculture)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of rural development and agroecology
  • Ability to work in remote areas


2. Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (Kathmandu)

Job Details

  • Location: Kathmandu
  • Level: Mid-Level
  • Start Date: April 1, 2026
  • Contract: 9 months (extendable)


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage M&E frameworks and tools
  • Track project progress and maintain databases
  • Ensure data accuracy and reporting compliance
  • Conduct field monitoring visits
  • Document success stories and lessons learned
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and project teams
  • Support reporting and program evaluation


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in M&E or program management
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills
  • Familiarity with donor reporting systems
