About Organization:

Rastriya Rojgar Prawardhan Kendra (RRPK) is a non-governmental organization working in Nepal since 2004 to support rural community development in the areas of education, health and nutrition, child protection, livelihood, human rights, safe migration, gender and empowerment, good governance, disaster risk reduction, and WASH. The organization is guided by a mission to improve people’s lives through economic, social, cultural, and physical transformation.

RRPK is going to implement a Child Sponsorship Management Project in Sarlahi District in partnership with Plan International Nepal. For this project, Rastriya Rojgar Prawardhan Kendra invites applications from interested and eligible Nepali citizens who are reliable, accountable, and able to deliver results with the highest level of integrity for the following position.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Disseminate sponsorship and child-safe policy information to community leaders, parents, and children.
  • Collect case stories and photographs of children with proper parental consent within the given deadline.
  • Distribute identity cards to newly assigned children and collect their first communication/correspondence within the timeline as per sponsorship policies.
  • Distribute cancellation notices to children/families and clearly explain the cancellation process to parents and the community.
  • Prepare monthly sponsorship reports and submit them to the Program Coordinator (PC) for compilation of district-level final reports.
  • Distribute letters, cards, gift parcels, and magazines to sponsored children and collect replies within the stipulated timeline.
  • Encourage sponsored children to write letters in their own language and words, and monitor content for inappropriate references (e.g., gift demands, sexual, religious, or political content).
  • Visit each sponsored child at least three times a year, and additionally on a needs basis.
  • Assist Sponsorship Program staff in preparing monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of each sponsored child; report cases of migration, marriage, death, loss of program benefits, or withdrawal of parental consent to Plan International through the Sponsorship Program Officer.
  • Share sponsorship issues, updates, standards, and requirements with program staff, board members, and community leaders to ensure effective sponsorship management.
  • Update and maintain proper documentation related to new assignments and other sponsorship information.
  • Adhere strictly to RRPK policies and guidelines.
  • Assist the Sponsorship Program Officer and Project Coordinator in phase-in and phase-out planning as required.
  • Support program staff in distributing materials to sponsored children.
  • Coordinate with Community Mobilizers and volunteers at the field level to ensure strong collaboration in sponsorship program management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.
