About Organization:

Janajati Society Development Program, Sindhuli (JSDP) is a district-based, non-profit development organization registered under the Organization Registration Act, 2034 (B.S.) in 2064 (B.S.) at the District Administration Office, Sindhuli. Since its establishment, JSDP has been actively engaged in implementing various development initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable development in Sindhuli district. The organization primarily works for the socio-economic upliftment of deprived, socially excluded, and marginalized communities of the district. JSDP envisions a just, gender-equitable, and socially inclusive society where peace, progress, and prosperity prevail.

Currently, JSDP Sindhuli focuses on programs related to children, adolescents, and youth in the district. With the partnership of Plan International Nepal, JSDP is implementing the Girls Standing Strong (GSS) Project, Sponsorship Communication Project (SCP), and the Thank You Project in Sindhuli district. At present, JSDP invites applications from eligible and interested candidates for the following positions under projects supported by Plan International Nepal:


Rquired Qualifications: 

A Master’s degree with a minimum of three years of relevant work experience in the I/NGO sector, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of relevant experience in the I/NGO sector. Candidates should have proven experience managing projects throughout the full project cycle, from planning to successful completion, in a project leadership role.
Having-on experience in working with INGOs/NGOs

  • Proven experience in budget management and people management
  • Ability to work effectively under multiple and high-pressure deadlines
  • Experience working in rural development contexts in Nepal
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in child protection, CFLG, and safeguarding
  • Prior experience managing projects related to education, health, protection, and sponsorship
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and Outlook
  • Familiar with technology, including use of laptops, mobile phones, and other digital devices
  • Experience working with diverse teams and multiple ethnic groups

Duty station: Office based position with frequent travel to working location.
