Currently, ADRA Nepal is implementing the Core Group Partner Project (CGPP) in collaboration with implementing partners and provincial and municipal governments. The project focuses on comprehensive community-based surveillance, including immunization coverage, disease surveillance, zoonotic diseases, vaccine-preventable diseases (VPDs), cross-border health screening, and One Health integration.
ADRA Nepal invites applications from qualified and experienced Nepalese citizens for the following positions under the CGPP project.
1. National Project Manager
Available Seat: 1
Location: Based in Country Office, Bakhundol, Lalitpur
The National Project Manager, reporting directly to the Program Director, will be responsible for leading and supporting the effective implementation of the Core Group Partner Project (CGPP). The role entails providing strategic and technical leadership, coordinating with national and global health stakeholders, and overseeing project components related to surveillance, immunization, maternal and child health (MCH), and Global Health Security (GHS). The position also involves facilitating regular coordination meetings and ensuring the effective implementation and integration of immunization and surveillance activities.

Required Qualifications:
A Master’s degree in Public Health or a related field, with at least seven years of professional experience in public health programme management. Demonstrated experience working with the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) and managing donor-funded projects. Proven leadership in multi-partner programmes, with strong technical knowledge of maternal and child health (MCH), DHIS2, disease surveillance, and outbreak preparedness and response. Excellent communication and coordination skills are required, along with fluency in both English and Nepali.
2. Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Officer

Locaiton: Based in Madhesh Province
The MEAL Officer will lead routine monitoring activities across municipalities, health facilities, and community outreach interventions. The position is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate data collection related to immunization, AFP surveillance, vaccine-preventable diseases (VPDs), and zoonotic alerts. The role includes implementing Data Quality Assurance (DQA) processes, supporting corrective action planning, and documenting good practices, success stories, and lessons learned to inform adaptive programme management. The MEAL Officer will also strengthen community engagement through coordination with FCHVs, CHWs, schools, and community structures, and prepare monitoring inputs for provincial reviews, stakeholder meetings, and Social Welfare Council (SWC) visits.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Statistics, Epidemiology, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred), with 3–5 years of relevant experience in MEAL for health programmes, preferably in maternal and child health and/or immunization. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SPSS, or similar data analysis tools, along with hands-on experience using mobile data collection platforms such as ODK, Kobo, and DHIS2. The role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in remote and challenging environments. Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Nepali and English are essential.
3. Field Coordinator

Location: Based on Madhesh Province
The Field Coordinator, based in Madhesh Province, will support the implementation of community-based surveillance activities, including immunization, vaccine-preventable diseases (VPDs), and zoonotic disease reporting. The role will assist in routine immunization services, microplanning, and the identification and follow-up of zero-dose and under-immunized children. The Field Coordinator will coordinate closely with municipalities, health facilities, animal health workers, and One Health committees to ensure effective collaboration and service delivery. The position is also responsible for ensuring timely reporting in compliance with donor requirements and safeguarding standards, and for representing the local NGO in district and municipal coordination meetings.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or a related discipline is required (a Master’s degree is preferred). Candidates should have at least five years of relevant experience in community health, immunization, surveillance, or NGO-led programmes. Familiarity with Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs) and local health systems in Madhesh Province is essential. The role requires sound knowledge of maternal and child health (MCH), routine immunization, community-based surveillance (CBS), and the One Health approach. Experience in data management and reporting, preferably using DHIS2, is an advantage. Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills are required to effectively work with diverse stakeholders.
4. Community Counselor
Available Seat: 1
Location: Based on Madhesh Province
The Community Counselors, based in Madhesh Province, will support community-based immunization efforts by identifying and following up on zero-dose and partially immunized children. The role involves mobilizing caregivers for routine and supplementary immunization services and working closely with Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs) and health facilities to improve vaccination coverage. Community Counselors will report health alerts, provide counseling to pregnant and postpartum women, conduct small-group awareness sessions, promote hygiene and maternal and child health (MCH) practices, and address misinformation, myths, and vaccine hesitancy within communities.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should have a PCL in Nursing, ANM, or a related field, with a minimum of three years of experience in community or public health, particularly in maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH) and immunization programs. Applicants should have sound knowledge of immunization and MNCH, basic digital reporting skills, and strong communication abilities in Maithili and Nepali. Preference will be given to local candidates. ADRA is a Child Safe Organization with zero tolerance for child abuse and conducts thorough screening of applicants to ensure suitability to work with children.
