About Organization:

Rural Health and Education Service Trust (RHEST) is dedicated to ending all forms of violence against women, including girl trafficking, early marriage, and child labor, and to promoting woman’s reproductive health. In order to prevent child labor, early marriage, and girls trafficking, RHEST is now helping almost 12,000 vulnerable girls in rural areas in 18 districts of Nepal with their education. Additional areas of concentration for RHEST's programs are capacity building and leadership for girls.

RHEST is looking for qualified candidates for following positions based in District Contact Offices:


Purpose:

The following roles are tasked with supporting the implementation of the Stop Girls Trafficking (SGT) and Amar Program in the designated district. This includes assisting with daily operations at the contact office, coordinating with stakeholders, handling planning and documentation, and engaging in advocacy to ensure the programs are delivered effectively.


1. Position Title: Program/Finance Associate-1 (One)

Duty Station: Makwanpur District (With 40% Field & 60 % Office work)

Duration: One year (with possible extension)

Salary & Benefits: NPR 28,000 in Gross


Key Responsibilities:

  • Record all financial transactions including payments sheets, students list as part of efficient documentation.
  • Maintain organized files of financial records, both in soft and hard copies, for reference purposes.Job search resources
  • Ensure all the documents are maintained properly at contact office for e.g. staff attendance records, time sheets, staff logbook, visitors book etc.
  • Assist District Program Coordinator (DPC) in the preparation of program budgets vs expenditure forecasts, and financial reports for internal and donor reporting.
  • Track budget utilization and alert the DPC of any variances or potential over/under-expenditures.
  • Assist in compiling financial information for program evaluations, donor reports, and annual reports. 
  • Conduct / Participate in field activities as part of program implementation.

Procurement and Administration Support

  • Handle office stationery and supplies.
  • Verify financial documentation related to procurement, including waybill, invoices, and delivery notes.
  • Support asset and inventory management processes. This includes proper documentation of stocks entry (In/Out), maintaining proper stock ledgers, physical verification of available assets and educational materials at contact office.

Capacity Building & Coordination

  • Assist in orienting field staff on financial procedures and documentation requirements.

  • Coordinate with program teams to ensure timely submission of expense reports and compliance with financial protocols.

  • Participate in finance team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of financial systems.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Minimum +2 in Management/Accounting
  • Minimum 1 year experience in related field
  • Proficiency in computer applications and documentation.
  • Proficiency in accounting/administration

2. Position Title: Program Associate-2 (Two)



Duty Station: Makwanpur (1), Ramechhap (1) 

(With 40% Field & 60 % Office work)

Duration: One year (with possible extension)

Salary & Benefits: NPR 24,000 in Gross


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing work plans, field plan in coordination with Field Officer/District Program Coordinator
  • Coordinate with schools, SMCs, PTAs, and other stakeholders to align activities with program goals.
  • Support daily operations of the District Contact Office.
  • Maintain program documentation and assist in preparing reports and case stories.
  • Provide regular updates to the Province Coordinator/Field Offcier on progress, challenges, and achievements.
  • Build strong relationships with program-supported schools, beneficiaries, and parents.
  • Collaborate with local authorities and stakeholders to address community needs.
  • Coordinate with advocacy groups to raise awareness on child marriage, gender-based violence (GBV), human trafficking, and unsafe migration.
  • Organize meetings, workshops, and training sessions for alumni and advocacy groups.
  • Facilitate communication with relevant stakeholders and maintain effective channels.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Minimum +2 in a relevant field (e.g., education, social sciences).
  • Minimum 1 year experience in program implementation, preferably in education or girls' empowerment.
  • Knowledge of child protection issues including child marriage, GBV, trafficking, and unsafe migration.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Nepali and English typing.
  • Proficiency in Basic accounting and admin related work.


3. Position Title: Program Assistant-3 (Three)

Duty Station: Surkhet(1), Ramechaap (1), Kailali (1)

(With 40% Field & 60 % Office work)

Duration: One year (with possible extension)

Salary & Benefits: NPR 20,000 in Gross


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist Program Associate and Provincial Coordinator/Field Officer (FO) in daily operations of the District Contact Office.
  • Maintain program/Admin documentation and assist Program Associate (PA) in preparing reports and case stories.
  • Assist in organizing meetings, workshops, and training sessions for alumni and advocacy groups.
  • Ensure the contact office is clean and organized, and maintain basic records related to office administration.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum +2 in a relevant field (e.g., education, social sciences).
  • Minimum 1 year experience in program implementation, preferably in education or girls' empowerment.
  • Knowledge of child protection issues including child marriage, GBV, trafficking, and unsafe migration.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Nepali and English typing.
  • Proficiency in Basic accounting and admin related work.
