After SEE, you can choose among three levels. +2 Level, Diploma Level or A Level. +2 is under NEB. That is, the NEB gives you a certificate.
+2 is divided into five groups. Science, Management, Humanities, Education and Law. If you are interested in science and math, you can join science. If your target is Engineer, Doctor, IT Officer, CA, B.Sc. Teacher, then you can join +2 Science.
If you want to study other subjects in bachelor like BBA BBS after +2, you can study it too. You can also choose Humanities, BCA and law in bachelor after taking +2 Science.
Science is also divided into two groups. One is the physical group and the other is the biology group. The physical group goes to engineering while the biology group goes to medical.
Studying +2 management gives you confidence in the field of management. You can then represent the junior level as a manager. If your goal is to become a manager, business person, business administrator then you can join +2 management.
After choosing management in +2, you can join BBA, BBS, BIM in graduation. Also, you can get involved in IT.
If you are interested in social work, mass communication, marketing, film industry, you can add +2 to humanities. In Bachelor you can do BSW, BSF, CA and BA. In addition, you can join CA and Law.
If you want to become a teacher or work in Nepal Education System Development and Training, Education Manager, you can join +2 Education. There is a misconception that students who study Education should become teachers. That's wrong. There are other opportunities and carriers available for students who choose Education.
Now let's talk about Diploma or PCL. This is also called a technical field. The reason to choose diploma level or PCL is to get a job after passing this level. But +2 may not help to get a job of your profession. Let's divide the Diploma level into 6 groups. This is a group divided by CTEVT itself. They are: Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Architecture, Diploma in Computer Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Graduation is under CTEVT. Health and Nursing in Pharmacy, HA, Ayurvedic, PCL Nursing
Diploma in Agriculture, including Botany and Animal Science.
Level A is under Cambridge University. These include AS and A2. It has a lot of flexibility. You can choose the topic. Science or non-science should be chosen when choosing a subject. To choose science, one has to choose physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics. In Bachelor you can choose any subject. In the non-science stream you have to choose economics, math, etc., it's like management. Later you can go into the field of management.
